Affiliate Program Guidelines

1. Program status — expressions of interest only

These guidelines describe the principles Designs By Spirit™ (owned and operated by Assembly of Spirit Enterprises LLC) expects to use in its proposed affiliate program. The program is not yet operating. We are currently receiving expressions of interest only. No affiliate account, referral tracking, commission rate, commission eligibility, or payment arrangement is established by submitting an application.

These prelaunch guidelines are informational and are not a contract, offer of compensation, promise of acceptance, or substitute for final affiliate terms. Before participation, an approved applicant would receive and be required to accept separate final written program terms.

2. Who may express interest

We welcome introductions from home décor and lifestyle creators, interior designers and decorators, bloggers, design enthusiasts, and other individuals or businesses whose audiences may be interested in our products. Applications are reviewed individually and may be accepted or declined at our discretion when the program opens. Any final eligibility criteria will be provided before enrollment.

The affiliate program is different from the Designs By Spirit Professional Network dealer or distributor opportunities. It does not provide exclusive territories, wholesale pricing, authority to place orders for customers, or rights to act on behalf of Designs By Spirit.

3. Clear disclosure of material connections

If someone is approved and later receives commissions, free products, discounts, gifts, or other benefits in connection with recommending Designs By Spirit, they must clearly disclose that material relationship whenever it could affect how their audience evaluates the recommendation.

Disclosures must be easy to notice and understand, placed with the recommendation and close to any relevant referral links or calls to action. They should not be hidden in a profile biography, a collection of hashtags, a separate terms page, or content that viewers must expand to see. For videos and other formats, disclosures should appear where viewers will encounter them in the content itself; link descriptions may also require a disclosure.

Examples of plain-language disclosures include:

• "I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link."
• "Designs By Spirit may pay me when you buy through this link."
• "Designs By Spirit provided this product to me for free."

An affiliate's actual disclosure should accurately reflect their specific relationship. The words "affiliate link" by themselves may not explain that money can be earned. Platform partnership labels may help but do not always replace a clear disclosure in the content. See the FTC Endorsement Guides and frequently asked questions for additional guidance.

4. Truthful recommendations and responsible promotion

Any future affiliate must make honest recommendations based on actual experience or appropriately supported information. Affiliates should not make false or unsubstantiated claims about product performance, pricing, warranties, lead times, safety, availability, savings, or outcomes.

Misleading testimonials, fabricated reviews, undisclosed incentives, unsolicited spam, impersonation of our business, unauthorized use of customer information, and misleading ads or websites are not acceptable. Affiliates will be expected to follow applicable advertising, email marketing, consumer protection, privacy, and platform rules.

Designs By Spirit may supply approved product information, images, links, and other materials when the program launches. Our names, trademarks, photographs, artwork, and other intellectual property may be used only as expressly authorized. Final terms will address any permitted advertising channels and restrictions.

5. Commission and payment terms will come later

Commission rates, qualified transactions, attribution methods, tracking periods, payment timing, adjustments for refunds or cancellations, and tax documentation have not been finalized. Nothing on this page creates an entitlement to a payment or commission. We will provide these details for review before approved partners begin referrals under an active program.

6. Applications, privacy, and communications

The current affiliate interest form prepares a message for the applicant to send from their own email program. We do not currently assign referral identifiers or track affiliate sales through this form. Information sent to us is used to evaluate inquiries and correspond about the program as explained in our Privacy Policy. Our Cookie Policy describes currently used browser storage and any future changes will be disclosed as appropriate before activation.
